The Vertical Dive turns a session into something you can fit around your day. It is a walk-in, upright chamber, 40 inches across and 85 inches tall, where you can sit at a desk or in a chair, read, work on a laptop or watch a movie. Dual redundant compressors, two pressure release valves, an antibacterial carpet and wireless Bluetooth speakers are built in, and the frame goes together and comes apart in minutes.
Best for: Remote workers and anyone who wants to work, read or watch a movie during a session.
What a session looks like
Slide in, zip the chamber closed and let the electric pumps bring it up to 4.4 PSI (1.3 ATA), where the double vent system holds it steady while fresh, filtered air keeps flowing. Get comfortable, read, work or rest, then let the pressure release before you zip out. Many owners schedule sessions of roughly 60 to 90 minutes; follow the manufacturer's instructions for your own protocol.
Space, power and setup
Summit to Sea chambers assemble on a frame and pack into a carrying case or travel bag, so they can be set up in a spare room or stored away. Plan a flat area for the frame and a household outlet for the pumps (Summit to Sea lists roughly 200 W for its larger models), and keep the pumps clear of flames and heat sources.
