A roomy vertical chamber with a wheelchair-accessible option
The MC4500 is a vertical soft chamber built around space and access. At roughly 81 × 70 × 70 inches it is one of the roomiest chambers in the Macy-Pan range, operating at up to 1.3 ATA. Choose the MC4500N with an N-shaped zipper so a wheelchair can roll straight in, or the MC4500U with a U-shaped zipper; pick from five colors and an optional aluminum ramp, and run it with the Standard (three-machine) or Pro (all-in-one) unit.
Best for: Households and clinics that want upright, spacious sessions with N-zipper wheelchair access or U-zipper entry.
What a session looks like
Roll or step in through the wide entry, get comfortable and have the chamber zipped closed. The compressor brings the chamber to your working pressure while oxygen is delivered through a mask or cannula, and a caregiver or operator can monitor the gauges from outside. When the timer ends, pressure is released gradually before you exit. Many owners schedule sessions of roughly 60 to 90 minutes; follow the manufacturer's manual for your own protocol.
Space, power and setup
Confirm a level, firm floor and enough door and hallway width for the wheelchair route, then plan room beside the chamber for the compressor, concentrator and any cooler, plus a nearby grounded outlet. Keep the machines clear of flames, sparks and heat sources and follow the manufacturer's manual for placement.
