1.5 ATA with room for an adult and a child
The Apex36 is the largest portable chamber in OxyRevo's Apex Series, at 89 by 36 inches and 1.5 ATA. There is room for one adult or an adult and a child, and seven oversized viewing windows keep the space open. Curved leak-proof YKK zippers create a wide opening, interior and exterior zipper operation lets one person use the chamber alone, and a memory foam mattress and 10 L/min concentrator (90–97% oxygen) are included.
Best for: Families and solo users who want the widest Apex chamber and easy one-person zipper operation.
What a session looks like
Lie down on the mattress, zip the chamber closed and start the air compressor. The chamber inflates to your working pressure while oxygen is delivered through a mask or cannula, so you can rest, read, listen to music or even nap. When the timer ends, pressure is released gradually and you unzip and step out. Many owners schedule sessions of roughly 60 to 90 minutes; follow the manufacturer's manual for your own protocol.
Space, power and setup
Soft chambers fold or pack down, so plan for a flat area of floor at least as long as the chamber, room beside it for the compressor, concentrator and any cooler, and a nearby grounded outlet. Keep the machines clear of flames, sparks and heat sources and follow the manufacturer's manual for placement.
