Space, power and setup
Delta rates this kit for a maximum shower volume of 550 cu ft, so measure your enclosure (length × width × height) against that rating and confirm the sizing with us. It draws 50 A at 240 V and calls for a 60 A double-pole breaker, so have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and a licensed plumber handle water and steam connections, following local codes and Delta's installation sheet. The generator is 17-3/4 in deep, slightly deeper than the smaller kits, so check your vanity, closet or attic space. The control must be installed inside the shower area. Delta recommends a generator pan and auto drain (5GA-PAD-240), sold separately.
