Space, power and setup
Measure your doorways, hallways and sauna room before ordering. A wood-burning stove needs a chimney connection and safe clearances to walls, benches and ceiling, which are listed in the manufacturer's manual. Follow your local building and fire codes and have the installation reviewed by a qualified installer. Sauna stones and the chimney connection are purchased separately. Because it serves a sauna and an adjoining room, discuss the layout and wall opening with your installer.
Questions buyers ask
What size sauna is the Harvia 36 Duo designed for?
Harvia lists a recommended room volume of 494-1,271 cubic feet. Measure your sauna and call us if your room is near either end of that range.
What do I need for the chimney and clearances?
A wood-burning stove needs a chimney connection and safe distances to combustible surfaces, which Harvia lists in the stove's manual. Your setup must meet local building and fire codes, and a qualified installer should confirm the plan before you order.
Are sauna stones included?
No. The stove needs 3 boxes of sauna stones (132.3 lb of 10-15 cm stones), which are sold separately along with the chimney connection.
What should I expect from delivery?
Curbside delivery is free within the continental U.S. If you would like the unit brought further in, optional White Glove delivery is available and is priced in the checkout follow-up. Measure your doorways, hallways and sauna room before ordering, and call 1-762-214-2594 with any questions.
