Summit to Sea Chamber Comparison: Shallow Dive vs. Dive vs. Grand Dive vs. Grand Dive Pro

Short answer: All seven Summit to Sea chambers run at the same pressure (1.3 ATA, 4.4 PSI), so you choose by size, posture and access. The Shallow Dive 26″ is the smallest single-person chamber, the Dive 33″ adds room for a child, the Grand Dive 40″ fits two or three adults, the vertical models let you sit or stand, and the Grand Dive Pro and Pro Plus accommodate wheelchairs and stretchers. What every model shares

• Working pressure of 4.4 PSI (1.3 ATA).
• Dual (redundant) compressors, sound suppression and in-line filtration on the horizontal models, with a pressure gauge or monitor.
• A 2-year manufacturer warranty.
• A required oxygen generator (10 LPM at 20 PSI), sold separately.
• Per the manufacturer, Class II device status and a prescription required to purchase (health clinics excepted).

Shallow Dive 26″

The smallest chamber, made for one adult with limited space. It has a bright white interior and a viewing window, and it can be assembled for top or side entry.

Dive 33″

Fits one adult and one child, and many adults can sit upright inside. It has two viewing windows and a foam mat with a rounded bottom.

Grand Dive 40″

Holds two to three adults, or gives one person plenty of room to move. It weighs 127 lbs inflated and includes four foam bolsters that form a cradle around the mattress, plus interior and exterior pressure monitors and a power-monitoring alarm.

Vertical Dive 40″

An upright walk-in chamber, 40″ in diameter and 85″ tall, for one adult. You can sit at a desk or chair inside, and a person about 5 feet tall can stand. It runs on a standard 15 to 20 amp outlet, includes Bluetooth speakers and an antibacterial carpet, and weighs 131 lbs assembled.

Grand Dive Vertical 54″

The largest upright chamber, 54″ across the base and 6.5 feet tall. It fits one or two people, and people up to about 6 feet tall can stand. It draws about 200 watts on a standard 15 to 20 amp outlet and includes a carbon filter.

Grand Dive Pro 46″

Large enough to roll in a wheelchair or gurney, and can accommodate a stretcher or a healthcare provider inside. It has two end windows, two inflation valves, two auxiliary valves and an airtight two-way circumferential zipper, and draws about 200 watts. It is listed with and without a wooden platform, so check the listing.

Grand Dive Pro Plus 60″

The largest chamber in the range, 60″ across and 103″ long. It accommodates wheelchairs, gurneys and recliners with space for a provider inside. Double-sided full-length zippers allow side entry, and it includes a 4′ × 6′ carpet and a foam mat.

How to choose

• Limited space, one user: Shallow Dive.
• A parent and child, or more room to sit up: Dive.
• Two or three users: Grand Dive.
• Prefer to sit or stand: Vertical Dive or Grand Dive Vertical.
• Wheelchair, gurney or stretcher access: Grand Dive Pro or Pro Plus.
