Wheelchair-accessible soft hyperbaric chamber

OxyRevo Heal40: a 1.4 ATA chamber with a ramp for wheelchair access

The Heal40 is a soft hyperbaric chamber with a wheelchair ramp and a durable aluminum base. The cabin is 67 x 62 x 75 inches, with room for a wheelchair or a regular chair, so seated sessions do not require a transfer.

The build

How the Heal40 is built

Ramp access

Roll or step in

A wheelchair ramp and a wide entry let you roll in. The cabin also holds a regular chair for seated sessions.

Aluminum base

Steady when inflated

The durable aluminum base ships attached to the chamber and keeps it steady when inflated. Setup is mainly fitting the internal frame and connecting the machines.

Four windows

A bright, open cabin

Four large heated, double-layered windows sit at the back, front and sides.

Step it up

Pressure you can ease into

A one-press converter sets the chamber to 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 ATA, so you can start lower and work up to the 1.4 ATA maximum.

Key features

  • Exit in about 30 secondsAn emergency valve lets you open the chamber and step out quickly.
  • Gauges inside and outDual aviation-grade pressure displays, with pressure release controls that are easy to reach.
  • Heat-welded seamsHigh-frequency welding in a TPU shell, with no glue or stitching.
  • Extra-quiet valvesAutomatic relief valves and a sound level of 50 dB or less.
  • Cleaner cabin airDual input and output filters, filtering to 0.01 micron.
  • No oxygen cylindersThe included 10 L/min concentrator (90 to 97% oxygen) makes oxygen continuously.

A hyperbaric chamber is a pressurized, oxygen-enriched environment. Use only as directed in the manufacturer's manual and consult a physician before use. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Specifications are from the manufacturer's listing; confirm your exact configuration when you order.

Mild hyperbaric sessions made accessible for wheelchair users

The Heal40 opens mild hyperbaric sessions to wheelchair users. Its 67 × 62 × 75-inch chamber has a wheelchair ramp and a durable aluminum base, and it can also hold a regular chair for seated sessions. It operates at 1.4 ATA with a 10 L/min concentrator (90–97% oxygen), four large double-layered windows and dual YKK leak-proof zippers, and dual pressure displays and pressure-release controls are easy to reach. The cover is grey, and the manufacturer notes OEM custom colors are available.

Best for: Wheelchair users, caregivers and clinics that want a 1.4 ATA chamber with a built-in ramp and aluminum base.

What a session looks like

Roll or step in through the wide entry, get comfortable and have the chamber zipped closed. The compressor brings the chamber to your working pressure while oxygen is delivered through a mask or cannula, and a caregiver or operator can monitor the gauges from outside. When the timer ends, pressure is released gradually before you exit. Many owners schedule sessions of roughly 60 to 90 minutes; follow the manufacturer's manual for your own protocol.

Space, power and setup

Confirm a level, firm floor and enough door and hallway width for the wheelchair route, then plan room beside the chamber for the compressor, concentrator and any cooler, plus a nearby grounded outlet. Keep the machines clear of flames, sparks and heat sources and follow the manufacturer's manual for placement. At a glance: working pressure 1.4 ATA; weight 43 kg / 95 lbs; dimensions 67″ L × 62″ W × 75″ H (5.58 ft × 5.17 ft × 6.25 ft).

Setup detail: per the manufacturer, the aluminum base ships already attached to the chamber, so setup is mainly fitting the internal frame and connecting the machines. The base keeps the chamber steady when inflated instead of wobbling like a balloon base. Inside, there is room for a wheelchair or a regular chair. The shell is TPU, heat-welded with high-frequency welding, and dual input/output filters on the compressor, concentrator and operating unit filter to 0.01 micron. The Standard version uses three separate machines (compressor, oxygen concentrator and air cooler); the Pro version combines them in one all-in-one unit. The manufacturer states no technician is required and the system can be operated from inside or outside the chamber.

Questions buyers ask

Is the chamber stable?

The manufacturer says the solid aluminum base keeps it steady once inflated, rather than shaking like a balloon-style base.

How involved is installation?

The base arrives attached to the chamber. You fit the internal frame and connect the machines to the chamber; the manufacturer describes both as simple.

Can I change the pressure setting?

Yes. A one-press converter sets 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 ATA, so you can choose a lower level and work up to the 1.4 ATA maximum.

Do I need to buy oxygen cylinders?

No. The included 10 L/min oxygen concentrator makes oxygen from room air continuously, so there is nothing to refill.

What upkeep does it need?

The manufacturer names the air compressor filters as the main wear item, to be changed every 6 to 12 months depending on how often you use the system. Spare filters are supplied.

A hyperbaric chamber is a pressurized, oxygen-enriched environment. Use only as directed in the manufacturer's manual, keep flames, sparks and heat sources away, and consult a physician before use, especially if you have a medical condition or are pregnant. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Results vary. Refer to the manufacturer's labeling for regulatory status and intended use.
